A Fantastical Space Alive in Nagasaki Station: Mysterious Mirror® JEUX D’EAU
Nagasaki, a port city that has brought foreign winds across the sea, has thrived as a hub where diverse cultures and technologies intersect throughout its history. As a new symbol of Nagasaki, the station building has adopted the Mysterious Mirror® JEUX D’EAU stainless steel ceiling panels, creating a captivating space for visitors.
These ceiling panels are characterized by their delicate design that mimics the flow and ripples of water, casting the surrounding scenery in a fantastical light when hit by sunlight. The rich expressions created by light and shadow blend with Nagasaki’s historical background of flourishing through international trade, leaving a profound impression on visitors.
Named JEUX D’EAU, which means “water play” in French, these panels embody the endless possibilities and varied beauty of water. [Mysterious Mirror®] JEUX D’EAU https://www.mako-metal.com/series/judo
